About
The Indian Student Association at California State University, Fullerton is a non-profit student organization that provides a platform for helping students understand the cultures and the heritage of India, while branching out and networking with the Indian community of Southern California. We use many of the campus resources available to us to promote cultural awareness throughout the student body. With close to 200 members, the Indian Student Association is one of the largest cultural organizations at the CSUF campus. ISA is a great organization for students who want to become more involved on campus or learn about the Indian culture. Our organization also maintains a membership with the ASI Association for Inter-Cultural Awareness (AICA). AICA is an organization which was established to enhance the student experience at CSUF by raising awareness of and celebrating the multicultural student population of Cal State Fullerton.

Throughout the academic year, the ISA executive board works vigorously to enhance the student experience on campus by bringing the Indian culture to them through workshops and events. By working in conjunction with AICA and other multi-ethnic groups on campus, ISA is able to host event such as our Ganesh Festival, Garba, Vaisakhi Festival and our annual Cultural Night. Through our own fundraising efforts, ISA hosts various self-sponsored events such as Diwali (Festival of Lights), Uttarayan (Festival of Kites), and Holi (Festival of Colors) in order to showcase the various aspects of the Indian culture.
